Topic: The Importance of Being Seen
This presentation explains why women shy away from the camera and why it is so important to be seen. It will give you useful tips and tricks that you can take with you on how to be confident enough to exist in photographs!
"I loooove green.
From deep forest green crayons to mint and chocolate chip ice cream, I love all shades of green. I have boundless energy and the willingness to help out wherever I can. I am silly and love to make people laugh. I love baking, but more for the relaxation and less about the eating. I appreciate good sensible shoes, but drool over fantastic high heels. I knit. I chair dance in my car. I love music, vanilla, and old school pencils with those useless reddish coloured erasers on the end.
I specialize in women’s portraiture because I believe so deeply that every woman should exist in photographs – for herself, for her children, for everyone who loves her. There is so much value in deciding to put yourself in a photograph – to say firstly, that you’re important enough exist in that moment and secondly, to be remembered for generations. To be present.
I see the light and beauty that is in every person. I will give you photos that give you physical evidence of the amazing person you are: this is you – beautiful, intense, real. This is not about colours on a piece of paper. This is about you. Let me show you."
